In the article Basem quotes information from the Motor Cycle Industry Council about the down turn in the industry. Interestingly, he also states that 2008 topped off six straight years of million-plus sales.
Top looses:
- Off road sales down 39.7 % — Good time to buy an off road bike!!.
- New Motorcycle sales down + 30 % — Also a sign to buy.
- Dual purpose motorcycles off +20%
